There is a special treat for those going to the Evil Wiener Roast this Tuesday, July 4th @ the Cave: I will join the band to perform “It’s Carrboro”.
Armed with a guitar, a pocket full of change, and a fake beard, Billy and I walked from Carrboro to Chapel Hill one morning. This video’s almost 10 minutes long, so don’t try to watch it during a Lost commercial break.

So here’s the dilly, yo: Billy and I were interviewed by Carolina Week so we’re going to be on the tele-vision machine! In Carrboro/Chapel Hill the channel is 24. It will be on this next Wednesday (5/31) at 8PM. It will be mildly entertaining.

Having problems with the iPod download? Yeah, some browsers don’t yet know what a “.m4v” is and so they try to display it as text. What you want to do is download it to your disk and then try to open the file you just downloaded.
Here’s what you do: If you have a mouse with more than one button, Right-click on the link to get a menu and select “save to disk” (or something along those lines). If your mouse has only one button - Mac users, I’m looking at you - click on the link and hold down the mouse until the menu pops up. Let the file download to your computer. Then try to open the file you just downloaded with Quicktime.
…More like after the Flicker Film Festival, because the video is digital and Flicker only takes “real” film submissions. Still, Nicole and crew have agreed to show it at the end of the show so it isn’t technically during Flicker. Jason and I have been hard at work editing this piece and we are still on schedule to get it done in time.
So mark your calendars for Flicker Film Festival at the Cat’s Cradle, May 8th. Doors open at 8PM and admission is $3.
